Currently, Manchester city is on lockdown but so is the world. Marketing and distribution company for magazine publishers, ValueMags is among the many companies that are advising their employees to be cautious. When there is a terrorist attack, it seems as though the whole world shies away and becomes scared… understandably. However, it is up to civilians around the world to show ISIS and other terrorist groups that they are not afraid.

Manchester On Lockdown With ValueMags

The Ariana Grande concert attacks in Manchester on Monday have other cities worried about their concerts too. Similarly, Chicago city is hosting international pop star, The Weeknd this week. Audiences should expect a longer wait and lines to get into the concert hall. With the Manchester attacks, security is more present than ever. Among the concert attenders are some ValueMags employees. CEO and President, Andrew Degenholtz wants employees to be especially careful this week. The United States is a large player in international power, economies, and politics which makes them a likely target for terrorist attacks. It was proven in the 2001 Twin Tower attacks in New York city that there are many groups in the world that are seeking power. To elaborate, they will do anything and everything, legal or not legal, ethical or unethical, to obtain that power. Although employees at ValueMags alongside many other Americans and international citizens believe that Donald Trump is a racist bigot. He is right about one thing: there is an international terrorism problem that is stemming from particular regions in the world that need to be stopped.

ValueMags employees want to turn this into a lesson for Americans raising kids. There are alternative ways to obtain power, what you want, and settle disputes. The best ways to do so are through communication and negotiation. Other methods only tear people apart and are detrimental to the self, the community, and the world.
