It’s been said that entrepreneurs are people who work 80 hours a week for themselves, so that they don’t have to work 40 hours a week for someone else. Granted it’s not easy living the life of a business owner — but for some people, it’s in their blood.
That being said, it can be a lonely existence and often it’s hard to get good advice. Creating a mastermind group of like-minded people is a typical suggestion, but it’s hard to start and maintain that sort of thing while running your business at the same time.
I recently came across something interesting in an organization called High Traffic Academy. HTA Internet marketing training has what they call an Elite Mastermind group that offers one-on-one support, a mastermind community plus many other features that aren’t offered in other programs.
By the way, during my High Traffic Academy review, I did discover that they do offer a wealth of training for those who don’t yet have the budget to bring their training to a whole other level. However, there are a limited number of hours in the day — and instead of wasting them reading all sorts of questionable reviews that litter the Internet, it makes more sense to become laser-focused in your approach and give programs a try before judging.
High Traffic Academy Internet marketing training focuses on the keeping marketers up to date on the latest marketing technologies and changes. There are always new ways to get more traffic and make more money that few people really know about.
One of the drawbacks of relying on stuff that you read about on the web, is that you never really have someone talk to about that information. Sure some blogs have comment sections, but I’m talking about getting on the phone and hashing out an issue that you’re having. That’s one of the nice things about being in a mastermind group. You can actually have a one-on-one conversation with a human being in real time. Now isn’t that amazing?
In my HTA review, I noticed that their mastermind also offers private webinars that give the mastermind group direct access to faculty members. Now, if you’ve ever attended a public webinar, you know that these are usually just thinly disguised pitches to sell you a product. These HTA webinars don’t appear to be anything like that at all.
These webinars are closed to the public and only available to members only. That’s because members get the chance to ask their questions and get them answered. Oh yes, membership has its privileges indeed.
Lastly, I was glad to see that they archive their training for those members that can’t be there during live sessions. Hey, after all, you’ve got a business to run!
