If I ask you to write something and make that popular, how would that sound! I know that would sound definitely harsh, as the thing doesn’t work in that way. Writing a blog is not like that, a well-known writer is writing something and that is becoming popular.

I can recall my stories of blog writing. There were times when I’ve posted same post over and over and received minimal responses. But now I write at least 3 posts a week which makes people surprised often. They ask me question, ‘how I do it, it’s not possible for them.’

Last blog post of mine seems good, especially from the point of inspiration I’ve received from numbers of comments and positive remarks. After whole lot of tweets and responses from different people suddenly I’ve started thinking why students don’t want to write! Are there no other alternatives to make the students and the Youngers encouraged to write something. Obviously there are ways, but very little time we are giving in it to finding out a way.

Alternative Ways To Inspire Students To Write!

Inspiration from around!

I think if we inspire someone to write, or encourage someone after reading something of their creation, it will work a lot. I’m telling you this as because it worked for me, and every time it really works.

You might be critical in case of encouraging someone. But for the ultimate betterment, I presume you should practice a bit more to inspire others.

Force to write!

In many times students become forced to write something. But does that really works is a matter to think about; It is not good at all to ask someone to write something when he or she is not willing to do that. If you force them to do that, eventually that will put negative effects.

I can show you many research findings that have shown, writing is such a thing that depends on mood. Unless you are in a good swing of your mood, you cannot write well. I’ve talked with many students about writing. Often they tell me, what they would write! I become surprised quite often, but never show what is going inside of mine. It is just for them, I mean just to encourage them showing, what they are saying and thinking is nothing irregular.

Alternative assignments!

In many times we provide assignment topics to the students to work on that. They respond with something most of the times. Assigning assignment is always a good way to make the students involved in writing. But still here are some things we can add.

For an example if a student fails to present the main thing of a particular assignment, we often resend the task in his/her home to correct that. We never think, it might happen that student does not like the topic. We can assign a new topic at that case. We can even discuss about the new topic before making final assignment. In that way the assignment making process will be more participatory and spontaneous.
